Unity is worth fighting for. When we work hard at being in agreement with each other, The Lord has no choice but to bring blessing. Unity is a spirit and cannot be faked.

The result of burdensome weariness is an unhealthy yoke to something. We have to be careful that we don’t get yoked to the wrong thing. When Christ extended the invitation to be yoked to him it’s because he knew that life would have moments of exhaustion that can be avoided.
Prayer is all about relationship. None of us should be identified by our gifting or platform but by the quality of our relationship with God. Our motivation for prayer can get foggy. Either we don’t pray because it’s too hard or we forget or we come to God rushed, with wrong motives and then wonder why we didn’t get anywhere. Once we understand what prayer is, everything changes.
What makes us great worship leaders is that we are great worshipers. It wasn’t King David’s gifting and talent that God was drawn to; it was his heart after God. The greatest calling we have in life is to know Christ.
The most important thing to rule when you’re a creative minister, let alone a minister, is your emotions. This isn’t easy. Our emotions are the result of what’s going on in our soul and we should never make apologies for it.
